mom and dad negotiated that he would sleep in if she got to take a nap later. after a few disney cartoons, robby was ready for some action. so we called in reinforcements (woke up dad), stripped down to the bare minimums (okay, that was just robby), and broke out the paints.
robby first decided he only wanted to paint with green.

then pink.
then blue.
by the time we got to red, it was a disaster and dad had to start the bath water mid-day. after a bath, lunch and an as-always too short nap, the monster was on the loose again! next resort: bounce house.
note, this picture is NOT upside down. that would be the subject.

amongst the rest of the days activities were brewing beer, playing with play-doh, baking nun's puffs (this was an experiment and they were weird, btw), coloring, and of course an elmo movie. robby was an intimate part of all activities, of course. an expert of none of them, but one of the largest contributors.as for tomorrow... well, at least robby's vocabulary now includes the world "blizzard."
