finally--fl!

my apologies for just now blogging about our trip to fl--life has been crazy catching up since we got back. well, that and it took me forever to get pictures uploaded :-) okay, that and i was procrastinating by reading, scrapbooking, pretty much everything.

so we escaped the bitter cold of sd for one week to visit our family in the best place on earth--central fl. the mission of the trip--to finally watch our little brother Tyler's lacrosse team play! it only took us 4 years! not only was it super cool to watch him play, but it was our first ncaa lacrosse game (and robby's first lax game period!) and that was pretty awesome because lacrosse is a special sport for our family. we also got to meet tyler's ridiculously cool (and super cute, but totally legal so it's ok to say that!) roommates. it was just awesome to finally meet the people tyler has talked about for 4 years and experience a little bit of his life in nc. in fl, ironically. so here are some shots we got of tr (the original), his roomies, and lacrosse. including uncle patrick showing robby a few stick skills (sts) from back in his day.

so besides lacrosse, we spent lots of time with our family and best friends. rob got to golf with his dad and brothers, i shopped with mer (score for the new sunglasses and make-up!)

robby got to spend the night with grammy and uncle scott when mom took a bff trip with niki and beth to the orlando arena and met donnie wahlberg and the new kids again! yah, you think i'm nuts and i'm ok with that. it was an AMAZING show, though i'm ticked that there are parts i don't remember thanks to too many libations :-/ i also don't have any pictures of said fun adventure because i'm waiting on niki, mer and beth to send them to me. but we were in the front row (that's just how we roll) and trust me that the pictures are hot.

a few days before we left, bobka and bobbob hosted a rockin 2 year old birthday party. of course, robby was the only 2 year old, but that didn't stop us from eating and drinking all that we could. aunt mer made a super special cake AND cupcakes for robby. he was thrilled. i cracked up when he blew out the candles as soon as mer put the cake in front of him and before everyone even started singing. haha. what a ham!

the last day of our trip was spent with grammy and bob (mom's new bf meets approval thus far, btw!) at bob's house. both sides of the family were there and robby made best friends with caleb, bob's grandson.
